    It obviously has a whiff of scandal for the desperate and that is what these guys are. That is why they were fighting so hard to abolish habeas corpus, they don't want these cases to see the light of day in a courthouse. Then everyone will know what some of us already know and that is that guantanamo is one of our darkest moments and tht most of the detainees had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11 or terrorism.

    Crowley has not released the request info, but are the complete FOIA request results available anywhere? I was disappointed to see my summer firm go unmentioned in the Honor Roll, either in Mr. Stimson's or the "senior U.S. official's" interview, though I know it did file an amicus brief in Hamdan. :-)

    Don't these people (WSJ columnist, for example) read any analyses of who's been locked up down there? It appears that most of those we've jailed in Gitmo (600?) were not captured on a battlefield and have no ties to aQ! This has been reported, but not widely because the mainstream media see it as a yawn.
