I'm not really digging it. The frontpage has lots of white space, and the bylines are greyishly hard to read. But my real beef comes from what happens when I try to load any article on the site:
It appears that your Web browser can not find this page's style and presentation information. You are welcome to use the page as is or, for the best experience, upgrade your browser to its latest version by visiting your browser's Web site or our download page. You may also try our new Today's Paper feature, a listing of all the headlines in today's New York Times.
I use Windows and Firefox. It takes a heckuva redesign to get stumped by those.
P.S. "Today's Paper"? Hmmmm...
I just had a problem with the Las Vegas Review-Journal not working right with Firefox, and got a similar glitch with America West Airlines. Sigh.

I use Firefox 1.5.0.1 on Windows XP, and I'm not getting that problem.
I just read the Windows on Mac story...

I'm not getting that message (using Firefox) unless I deliberately disable CSS rendering. Their stylesheet likely sets that block to display: none in compliant browsers, so perhaps you have some sort of cache problem or something blocking/disabling certain stylesheets/etc?
