    Quite the Diplomat

"While it may be true -- and probably is -- that not all Muslims are terrorists, it also happens to be true that nearly all terrorists are Muslim." - the Israeli ambassor to the U.N. yesterday.

    Sure, it "probably" is true.

If there is one Arab country whose ambassadors haven't said many things far less diplomatic about Israel (and Jews in general), I'd love to hear which country it is.

Is there a part coming next Ryuge where you're going to quote a passage of the Talmud that says that two wrongs make a right? Cuz, you know, that would be pretty handy to bust out in cocktail party conversation.

I vaguely recall a bunch of Christians ordering in American-accented English that bombs be dropped in a big city on March 20, 2003, where hundreds of thousands of children were trying to sleep all curled up with their teddy bears.

The shock-and-awe madmen were not terrorists. They were... what's the word again? Oh yes, liberators. Good god-fearing Christians out to liberate children from their own limbs -- with God on their side.

Only a racist Zionist could make such a comment. Umansky's beloved Israel was literally conceived and born in tertrorism. It's the New third Reich, based on the myth of racial purity.

Presumably, cryptic references to cocktail parties and the Talmud (of all things!) are meant to be witty distractions from the fact that you can't name a single Arab country that hasn't been far less diplomatic. I'm sure it must be very frustrating for you, Michael.

And I'm equally sure that Iraqi Shi'ites and Kurds wonder why civilian deaths were tolerable in trying to overthrow fascism in World War 2, but not in overthrowing the genocidal maniac who wanted to kill them. Oh that's right, Kofi Annan and his friends and family weren't swimming in Hitler's blood money, the way they were in Saddam's. The Annan's are good non-God fearing Seculars liberating Iraqi children from life, limb, property, and hope for a future to make rich diplomats and their cronies richer - with nothing but corruption on their side. I hope that M. Chazelle cries himself to sleep every year on the anniversaries of the deaths of Uday and Qusay. It must be awful for him to contemplate that the Iraqi people are now deprived of a future under their tender mercies.
