Robert Wright and I chat; we question the uproar over the Iraqi roadkill video, then we decipher Condi's code. (Fareed: She didn't change policy!)

I just finished watching the discussion between Bob Wright and yourself. The so-called uproar over the Iraqi “roadkill” video is likely an overkill reaction. These private contractors would probably not post the film clip on the Internet if they thought it might incriminate them. Furthermore, I saw nothing that seemed to indicate that these brave Americans are recklessly endangering the lives of innocent Iraqis.
Condi Rice should have slapped some sense into the heads of our European allies who prefer to live in La-La land. There are admittedly moral boundaries to be considered regarding torture. However, we are dealing with terrorists in a war to the death. They are not uniformed soldiers.

we can hardly be sure of who the enemy is any more. this 'war' against terrorism can not be won using military tactics. the sooner we get that fact through our heads, the sooner this 'war' will have an end in sight.
