According to Time, Cat Stevens (aka Yusuf Islam) wasn't originally stopped from getting on his flight in the first place because the TSA's "no-fly" list had a different spelling of his name. Meanwhile, Brit foreign minister Jack Straw said the U.S.'s deportation of Stevens "should never" have happened.
But the best nugget: TSA "recently acknowledged that a Federal Air Marshall, unable to fly for weeks when his name was mistakenly put on the 'no-fly' list, was in fact not a threat."
